While waiting on laundry

I decided to take a walk by the lake to get some air while waiting on the laundry to finish, when suddenly two police busses came rushing by me, and I needed to jump sideways to avoid getting hit. I never saw where they stopped, but it looked like they were chasing after someone so I ended my walk after just being outside for only twenty minutes.

Despite the action, it was beautiful outside and the sun was still up. A little cold, but I wore my spring jacket so it was okay. This year - at least here - the summer warmth will come later than usual, I think. I long for when I can sit by the water in the evenings without my jacket. We’ll see.
